Downtown Enhancement Project

This $5.6M project will improve the sidewalks, street furniture, trees, roads, streetlights and underground pipes on Lougheeed Highway and 224 Street. The improvements will achieve several objectives, including:
- Improving the Downtown's role as a key community node
- Increasing pedestrian circulation throughout the Downtown area
- Promoting long-term economic development
- Leveraging provincial and federal funding grants to rehabilitate local infrastructure
