Our Heritage
The citizens of Maple Ridge are very proud of our heritage, having incorporated on September 12, 1874. Maple Ridge has a long history of significant interest to many. By preserving our heritage, we will create a stronger sense of pride within the community, preserve what we value most for future generations; honour our elders, hear their stories, and build bridges to connect them to younger generations.
Maple Ridge Historical Society works closely with the District of Maple Ridge, to manage the Maple Ridge Museum and Archives, Haney House, and St Andrew's Heritage Church
The museum is open for drop-in tours on Sundays and Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. To book group tours or appointments for research and general information call 604-463-5311.
